Safety

At Galusha & Sons, safety is not a policy, it’s a responsibility and a culture.

We are firmly committed to providing a safe, healthy work environment for our employees, partners, and the communities where we work.

Every decision we make in the field is guided by the belief that no job is so urgent that it cannot be done safely.

A Proactive Safety Culture

Our safety program emphasizes awareness, accountability, and empowerment. Employees are trained to recognize hazards, make the correct safety decisions, and understand they have both the right and the responsibility to stop any unsafe operation. This proactive approach helps prevent accidents before they occur and reinforces a shared commitment to looking out for one another on every job site.

Training & Compliance

Safety education is ongoing at Galusha & Sons. All employees participate in annual safety training and complete required certifications, including OSHA 10-Hour training and 40-Hour Health & Safety HAZWOPER training. In addition, weekly toolbox talks are conducted on every job site to review site-specific risks, reinforce best practices, and ensure safety remains top-of-mind.

Every new hire completes a comprehensive Safety Orientation before stepping onto a job site, ensuring consistent standards and expectations across all operations.

Commitment to Excellence

Our dedication to safety directly supports the quality and reliability of our work. By maintaining disciplined safety procedures and well-trained crews, we minimize risk, protect schedules, and deliver superior service to both our employees and our customers. Safety is a cornerstone of how we operate—and a key reason clients trust Galusha & Sons on their most important projects.
